PURPOSE

Today I was blessed with the opportunity to catch up with someone whom I haven't spoken with in quite awhile. I told them about everything that had transpired in my life over the past 6 months, as well as how I'm doing right now. We talked about my business closing, photography, teaching at a new studio, doing administration and marketing work. I also had the pleasure of being updated on their life- new work, relationships, and spiritual life. As I was being updated on their life I had this huge feeling of happiness for them. I was so glad to hear they had been doing well and pushing forward in the midst of all they had gone through. Life isn't always easy, but we have both fought through it all!

It was while we were talking God revealed something major to me...

 "You may not understand but someday you will..."

During this time together, I received a feeling I very much needed in that moment:

It was in this conversation I realized that no matter how we feel about where we are at- God has a HUGE plan for us and there are people around us rooting for us to succeed, proud of where we're at, and cheering for where we're going.

I can get in my head about being past my days as a performer, I can get in my head about having to close down my dance studio, I can get in my head about going from being in such an important role within a community- to starting over from the bottom, BUT God has a plan, God has a purpose. 

You may have thoughts about where you "should be" or are expected to be at this moment in time, but that doesn't change how your silent cheerleaders feel about you- That doesn't change God's plan for your life... Today is a stepping stone for tomorrow & Yesterday was a stepping stone for today...
